Labuan One Day Trip

today we rent a small car, with 7 people inside, went to same attractions in Labuan.
We went to:

  1. Chimney
  2. Bird Park
  3. Peace Park
  4. War Cemetery
  5. Marine Museum
  6. Botanical Garden
  7. clock tower

I had took some photos for those places. never really realize Labuan had places like that. I mean, I stayed here for almost 3 years, and I am leaving here soon, but I am still not familiar with places at here.

hmm....it is definitely a place that suitable for old folks, peaceful and harmony, beaches all around, beautiful sunset and places to walk around.

Before we start our journey, we went to eat breakfast

Our Next destination was Bird Park
The owl looks so dumb and funny! LOL. but i like it the most among all
the bird on the upper right side said "Hi" to us! it knows how to talk some simple Malay words, kinda funny

Entrance fees for Bird Park is RM3 per person. If you have student card, only RM2
and it is RM 5 for foreigner.
cheap right?

then, we went to Peace Park. A place that symbolize peace and harmony.

After that, we went to botanical garden. we didn't really walk into it, just simple took some photos in the front part of it.

There are 1700++ graveyard over here
for soldiers who sacrificed in the war

We went to Marine Museum too, although we went to it few times already.

We planned to go to Water Village, but FAILED! we do not how to reach there :(

All information about the places above can easily be found in Google, just add-in the word "Labuan" ^.^V
the whole trip we spend only around RM20, included breakfast and lunch and fees for car rental.
if you have the lucks, you will be able to view nice sunset at Labuan too.

Lok Kawi Wildlife Park@Kota Kinabalu

Another destination that I think it is worth to go in Kota Kinabalu is Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, the largest wildlife park in Malaysia.  For Malaysian adult, entrance fee is RM10. After payment made, there will give you a map of the park as a guide to walk around in it. search for more information about it at  here . I thought it is just a big zoo, but after I had a visit there, I realize that it is more than just a zoo. There are a lot of animals in there and there is a botanical garden too. I should take more photos! but it was a rainy day when we went to the park! halfway in the park, rain is getting heavier, we were waiting in the shed, hoping the rain stop as soon as possible. after half an hour, a car passed by, the staffs drove one of us to take car, my dad thought want to thank him by giving some tips, but he refused and said this is his job! it is so moving when you heard someone fully holding up his responsibilities and not greedy.  the map! ...

老挝游 | 万象 | 悠然自得

Moonlight Champa 摆设 2018年3月趁着亚航有促销，我买了2019年5月单程机票到万象。没有任何计划，总之不要从万象回马来西亚，所以只买了单程。而且得买了机票才有目标，不然光想是去不成的～ 我们只在万象逗留一晚，住Moonlight Champa。 Champa 其实是鸡蛋花，鸡蛋花也是老挝的国花，所以在老挝可以看见许多鸡蛋花雕刻、装饰品等等。 Moonlight Champa 让我最印象深刻的是，门口的迎宾板写着顾客名字，欢迎顾客到来。走的时候也板上也有顾客名字道别呢。我们当天早上10点左右就已经到了旅馆，幸好员工和老板都很友善，让我们无附加费用提早入住。 旅馆有包早餐，简单的鸡蛋和面包早餐。当然还有橙汁和咖啡（发现几乎每天的早餐一定有橙汁，我们住别的旅馆也一样，有的甚至有橙汁、咖啡、清水三种） 旅馆隔音差，墙壁多数由木砌成，厕所比较窄小，但整体干净。没有电梯，所以要入住的朋友带着重行李的话要注意一下啦，不过老挝的旅馆大部份都没有电梯。 Moonlight Champa 外观 Moonlight Champa 门口 在老挝你可以选择用美金，泰铢或者基普。 和其他国家一样，在机场换钱是最不划算的，所以建议只换一些基普搭车，其余的可以到市区才换。 我们到了万象机场，第一时间就是买电话卡（一张大约RM10左右）。然后就买巴士车票搭车到旅馆，非常幸运的是旅馆外面就有个巴士车站，所以一下车就可以直接进旅馆。除了从机场到旅馆是搭巴士，我们其余时间都是走路。甚至连去搭巴士到万荣的旅行社也是走路，所以我这里说的几个景点都是步行就可以到达。 去之前我们的已经知道老挝很多很多的神庙。所以除了凯旋门，我们参观了两间神庙。因为只是走路，没有乘搭其他交通工具，所以能够慢慢步行欣赏万象街景（这里没有Grab，但你可以选择搭Tuk Tuk）。但真的好晒啊！记得做好防晒～ 万象最让我们印象深刻的就是凯旋门。在某个角度看，凯旋门是四方形的，颜色暗沉，非常有时代感。抬头看顶部，还会看到很精致的图案。凯旋门那就是一个长形的公园，有售卖食物和饮料的档口，还有个由瓷杯瓷碗打造的纪念碑，象征中国老挝友谊永固。 Patuxay Monument （ 凯旋门） 凯旋门其实是四方形的，走进凯旋门还可以看到精致的图案。想要俯瞰...
